I’m a figurative artist based in Chicago, IL. I prefer digital as a medium and currently use Procreate on the iPad Pro as my primary software. Although I work digitally, I often incorporate textures created with traditional acrylics, photographs, and other collage elements. Often those are scanned in, but I’ve also experimented with adding collaged elements, particularly metallics, to digital pieces printed onto canvas. My favorite subjects tend to be performers, entertainers, and burlesque dancers, in particular individuals with a flamboyant style, extravagant costuming, and gender ambiguity.
